How Mr. Snitchels
Came To Be…
The story of Mr. Snitchels dates back to December of 2021. The sisters were walking around HomeGoods looking at all of the Christmas decorations while Raegan was telling Britney about how naughty her daughter had been lately. Britney pointed to a creepy elf decoration on the shelf and said, “you should buy this and replace her other elf with this one when she isn’t behaving.” The sisters not only thought the idea was hilarious, but also thought that it might actually work to cure the naughtiness. Raegan decided to purchase the creepy elf and then the sisters waited for the next naughty day…
Of course, Raegan’s daughter was still being naughty the next day. So, that night the naughty elf (“Jack”) came and brought along a note explaining who he was and why he was there instead of her normal elf. Now, Britney and Raegan had to wait to see what her daughter’s reaction was going to be when she woke up.
The next morning, Raegan’s daughter found the new, unknown elf. She was shocked (and slightly creeped out due to Jack’s appearance). Shockingly, the sisters’ plan worked! Following Jack’s arrival, Raegan’s daughter’s behavior completely took a turn and greatly improved…and her normal elf was able to return.
In true Raegan format, she made a TikTok of her daughter finding the elf. Friends from all over were texting and asking where to buy a “Jack” and what a great idea it was. Random people on TikTok were commenting what a brilliant idea it was to help with the “holiday naughties.” It was then, that Britney & Raegan realized just how good their idea was. After going back and forth with ideas, they decided to write a book (their very FIRST attempt EVER at writing professionally) and figure out how to have a doll made…one less creepy than Jack.
